Writing here, many Kakching Thinks members may, from time to time, find technical issues such as formatting problems. If anybody has any such issues, and if they cannot fix them, then please put the queries here. We'll try to provide a solution to that. For example, our text and formatting toolbox does not have an indentation tool as of now. Thus, you may not be able to indent your text when necessary. Hence this Technical Issues thread! Yes, if you want to indent your text, put it within blockquotes. What are blockquotes? Well, in plain terms, blockquotes are the word blockquote put within square brackets, as [blockquote] [/blockquote] . If you want to indent "They agree they should go, but they don't move.", you put it between these quotes as: [blockquote]They agree they should go, but they don't move.[/blockquote] Please note that the closing blockquote has / in it. Now we have: They agree they should go, but they don't move.

Writing in Preview and BBCode modesThere are two modes of text/post window in ProBoards: 1. Preview 2. BBCode You can toggle between the two modes simply by clicking alternately on the buttons (see in the sceenshot below) you want turned on. You can type your text and insert media into the post window in both modes. At the same time, it's worth knowing the difference. PreviewIn the Preview mode you see EXACTLY HOW your post would look when it is published. In this mode, you can change the properties of your text-- Font Face, Font Size, and color. You can embolden, italicize, underline, strikethrough your text. You can make parts of your text superscript or subscript. You can align your paragraphs as you want. You can do everything in the Preview mode which ProBoards allows. Whatever you do, you will see only the effect, only how your post will look when published. BBCodeYou can do in BBCode mode whatever you can do in the Preview mode. You can use appropriate tools in the toolbar to do these. More than that, you can do a lot other you cannot do in the Preview mode. However, to do what you cannot do in the Preview mode, you need to have some basic knowledge of coding. This is simple, and you can learn this quite easily. I'll write a series of post about what we can do in the BBCode mode which we can't do in the Preview. In the BBCode mode, you see the properties of your text in the form of codes which are not visible in the Preview mode, or when the post is published. Even if you are new to codes, you need not be worried. BroBoards takes care of everything you basically need. You can make your post in either of the modes without having to bother yourself about anything at the stage.
