Few more years
The future is bright, But you have few years in hand. You aren’t going to die, but you’re going to be A different man walking on a different road! You have not been what you should have been, You wasted your years in trifle pursuits. Yet more years will come That you can spend to multiply or subtract what remains! The dreams that you pursued for years Could turn out to be mirages In the desert where wolves rule As agents of God! They are devil’s stooges in the world of shadows. Why should you complain against what all accept as true? Why should you worry for what you should forget? Why should you waste your precious time in talking about it? Their days have been numbered even though you think are long! They will bite the dust when that day comes; They will be remembered as heroes that turned into villains. Your destiny isn’t in their hands; Your future is your own.

I love this poem, oja Khelsoril. Exceptionally these parts--
This: for the double twists, the first in the first two lines, and the second in the last two lines, both in the quote,
and this:
for the wit in the first two lines, and the dire truth of the uncertainty expressed in the three last lines (quoted)--the possibility of what we love and pursue all our life turning out mirages, the "devil's stooges in the world of shadows."
Superb. I enjoyed reading it. Thank you.
