Photographs of any kind are invited for critical comments to be published on Kakching Thinks. Anybody irrespective of their nationalities, local belongings can submit their own photographical works. We do not have any preferred theme or subject, or any limit to the number of photos. We don’t have a deadline—submissions are accepted throughout the year. Due to lack of manpower, we cannot acknowledge every submission. Submissions do not necessarily mean that the photographs will be featured on Kakching Thinks certainly. Our photography team will independently choose the works that appeal to their personal tastes, and will post their critical comments at their leisure. Photographers are requested to keep the following point in mind when submitting their works: (i) The photographs should be their own works. There should be no plagiarism commitment. (ii) The photos should not be edited. The name of camera and the major configuration settings and the date(s) of shooting should accompany every photo submitted. (iii) If the photos are edited, please state so. (iv) Please insert your copyright information at the left bottom of the photo in a plain font type at a small size. It should be in the form either of “© Megeres Pukhrambam (2014)” (if your name is Megeres Pukhrambam, and if the photo was taken in 2014), or “© Photo Max (2014)” (if your studio is Photo Max, and if the photo was taken in 2014). No other post-shooting text should be inserted in the photograph. The photos with other texts inserted post-shooting will simply be ignored.
Submissions and queries should be sent to kakchingthinks@gmail.com.
